WESTPORT, CT — Now for some real news. "Augie" the Golden Retriever managed to fit six tennis balls in her mouth at once. "Squirt" climbed up a 5-foot ladder on command. Another dog rode a rocking-horse, and yet another coordinated canine did a handstand on a man's palm.
Think you can beat that, Wags? Well, you've got until August 31 to hone your skills and powder-up for the Beggin' Strips® Stupid Dog Tricks Contest.
The abovementioned dogs were among the winners of last year's showcase, and this year's is shaping up to be no less spectacular. |
Talented pooches from all over the continental USA are invited to register at BegginStrips.com for the Purina-sponsored event. Local tryouts begin as early as June 2nd in six US cities: Cincinnati, Denver, Hartford, Phoenix, Portland and San Antonio. Regional winners will each get $500 (USD) and a six-month supply of Purina Beggin' Strips snacks.
