or...
A sequel? Already? Well, this isn't exactly a sequel; it's more of a prequel (you know, the way Star Wars I came after IV, V and VI). PARK HILLS, MO — Upon further investigating yesterday's Zombie Dog Comes Back from the Grave article, The Scoop reporters learned of an interesting little tidbit. To refresh your memories, recall that Zombie Dog I was about Sweetie, the little, black dog who was hit by a mail truck, presumed dead, buried in the back yard, and then magically recalled to life, whereupon she basically dug herself out of the grave and back into the world of the living. Incidentally, Sweetie, who had suffered several fractures from the collision, is showing some encouraging progress and eating again. But we now find that this wasn't the first case of "playing dead" around the Stevens household.

Some time ago, Glenda Stevens had been suffering from pneumonia. She was suddenly overcome, and she passed out and fell into the bathtub, unconscious. Sweetie, who was with her at the time, became alarmed at the situation; however, Sweetie did not bury Ms. Stevens in the back yard. Instead, the little dog ran through the house barking and yipping until she found help. Ms. Stevens was treated and restored to health not long afterward. It just goes to show you: to err is human; dogs get it right the first time. §§§
