"He went thataway!"
We were doing a piece for Animal Planet which airs every so often...Animal
Heroes....It was about Suzie in Vietnam, K-9 Soldiers, MAY
DAY! MAY DAY!
While the camera crew was standing around and we were on this canal with
BDU and M16 rifles discussing the footage to be shot, a redneck stopped at
the site. He saw our field gear, the rifles, BDU and cameras...
"Are you DEA? I know the guy you're looking for, he's my neighbor and
he lives over there!" As the redneck pointed to his neighbor's house
a pickup truck backed out of the driveway and sped off in the other
direction. We collapsed with laughter!
