Retriever received a rather rude awakening when a cozy car ride
turned to chaos in Lindenberg. It seems that a confused
buzzard dive-bombed through the back window of the moving vehicle,
dropping a rabbit carcass right on top of the poor dog's head.
The driver managed to maintain control of the car and rushed
both the dog and the buzzard to a nearby veterinary clinic (the bunny was
beyond all hope).

The Lab was treated for bruises, and the bird, an Alpine buzzard, was treated for
cuts to its wings and feet. Both are expected to make a full
recovery, said a police spokesperson.
And now, back to that dream again... What was it? Oh yes,
something about an all-you-can-eat peanut butter buffet.
